NPF Welcomes New Board Members

July 29, 2024 – Alexandria, Virginia

The National Psoriasis Foundation (NPF) is pleased to welcome three new members to the NPF Board of Directors. Kelli Amerine, Ken Ansin, and Christine Lindsay, PharmD, will serve two-year terms effective July 1, 2024.

“We are incredibly fortunate to have these three individuals joining the NPF Board of Directors,” said Leah M. Howard, J.D., the President and CEO of NPF. “They bring new energy and bright ideas that will help us accomplish the objectives in our new strategic plan and our mission to cure psoriatic disease.”

The NPF Board of Directors is comprised of individuals from a wide range of professional and personal backgrounds who each have a connection to psoriasis or psoriatic arthritis (PsA).

“I’m truly delighted to welcome these three new and innovative board members,” said Carol Ostrow, the Chair of the NPF Board of Directors. "Their individual competencies complement those already around the table and will galvanize the board as we launch our new and ambitious strategic plan. There is work to be done.”

Kelli Amerine

Kelli Amerine is the founder and principal consultant of Talent Solutions, Inc., a firm specializing in organizational change, ideation, transformation, and human-centered implementation design. Her clients range across industries, including health care, insurance, high-tech, and professional services. Amerine's work has been credited with client recognition for several awards in relation to Culture Transformation and Innovation Programs.

Amerine was diagnosed with psoriasis in college and has had psoriatic arthritis for over twenty years. She has been actively volunteering and supporting NPF strategic development efforts since 2022 and was elected to the Board of Directors in 2024.

Kenneth Ansin

Kenneth (Ken) Ansin serves as Director of Enterprise Bancorp Inc. and has served as President of Ansin Consulting Group, a boutique advisory firm that partners with non-profit and socially responsible businesses within various sectors. Ansin has expertise in microfinance and has served as an owner of companies in the fashion, hospitality, banking, construction, waste, and construction industries.

Ansin is a resident of Massachusetts, where he is heavily involved in community work. In 2018 he received the Heart of New England Council, Boy Scouts of America’s North Star Award in recognition of his impacts and contributions to the New England Council. He is also a volunteer pilot for Angel Flight and PALS.

Christine Lindsay, PharmD

A clinical pharmacist by training, Christine (Chris) Lindsay worked for over 25 years in the Biotech Industry, primarily in dermatology and rheumatology. Currently, she is retired and consults ad hoc through her company Double X Management, Inc.

Lindsay has been an NPF volunteer for the local chapters in Los Angeles, California, and Dallas, Texas since 2005. Lindsay lives with psoriasis and PsA and has made it her passion to support the patient voice in research, advocacy, and health management.
