NPF Submits Comments in Response to the CMS 2022 Notice of Benefit and Payment Parameters Proposed Rule

12/30/2020

NPF appreciates the opportunity to provide feedback on the proposed rule and how the proposed changes may impact Marketplace beneficiaries with psoriatic disease. We are pleased to see the inclusion of policies in the proposed rule that would expand patients’ access to ACA coverage through new special enrollment periods (SEPs) and extension of the temporary premium tax credits. However, we are concerned that other proposals would have a negative effect on patients’ enrollment in affordable and comprehensive health plans. Comments on specific provisions of the proposal are outlined in the letter.
