NPF Medical Professional Awards

Are you an advocacy hero? A chief collaborator? An equity champion? 

Nominations are open for the NPF Medical Professional Awards!

In order to complete your nomination package, please fill out this form, and include your CV, a personal statement of impact that explains the impact of your work in relation to the award, and at least one letter of support from an individual who has witnessed your work. All nominees must be an NPF Professional Member to be considered. Ensure your eligibility to receive an award by becoming an NPF Professional Member today!

Award Categories

Advocacy in Action Award

This award is given to a health care provider (HCP) who is also an advocacy hero. They have demonstrated an impact on their community on local issues related to psoriatic disease. Individuals who advocate for legislative and regulatory solutions that help ensure access to life-changing psoriatic disease therapies for all are encouraged to apply.

Excellence in Collaborative Care Award

This award is given to a health care provider (HCP) who has gone above and beyond to ensure their patients have access to a full network of skilled providers. This person has created a streamlined referral system, ensuring that patients are cared for beyond their psoriasis and/or psoriatic arthritis diagnosis. This can also include providers who have implemented training programs for precise diagnosis and evidence-based care.

Elevating Equity in Health Care Award

This award is given to a health care provider (HCP) who has elevated care for underserved communities, not only working to enhance access and care but creating tailored support systems within those communities. This individual should be someone with a passion for working with those with skin of color, children/youth, those who live in rural areas, those who are eligible for Medicare/Medicaid, or other underserved populations.

Nomination Process

  • Nominations are accepted from medical professionals or staff of NPF.
  • Nomination materials should include a personal statement as well as at least one letter of support, preferably from a colleague.

Award Process

  • All recipients are chosen by the NPF Awards Committee. 
  • Awards are presented at the NPF Corporate Reception at the AAD Annual Meeting.
