The National Psoriasis Foundation (NPF) is pleased to announce that 20 new products have earned the coveted Seal of Recognition. All recognized products are created and intended to be non-irritating and safe for people with sensitive and dry skin, especially those with psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis (PsA).
Each of these 20 products passed the same rigorous application, review, and approval process as the other 45 products that comprise the NPF Recognized Product Directory. Independent laboratory data are submitted to demonstrate that a product does not irritate the skin or joints, before products are then reviewed by a panel of dermatology and rheumatology experts, as well as people living with psoriatic disease. The result of the process are products that people with sensitive skin or mobility issues can rely on.
“We are always excited to add new over-the-counter options to the Seal of Recognitions product directory,” says Leah M. Howard, J.D., the President and CEO of NPF. “Our community deserves gentle, effective products that provide relief without harming the skin or joints.”
