Community Development Manager, Seattle, Wash.

A national, nonprofit, voluntary health organization is seeking a seasoned volunteer development & fund raising professional to organize volunteers and execute walks and other fund raising and program initiatives in Seattle, Denver, and Salt Lake City areas. Responsibilities include cultivating and soliciting donors, sponsorships, and event participants; volunteer management including recruitment and training; and directing special events.

Requirements: Bachelors degree or equivalent, five years of experience in non-profit development, management of volunteers, and event marketing. Excellent written, oral and interpersonal communication skills, and able to work in a team environment. Competitive salary with excellent benefits. Work from your home office. Cycling & Endurance Events Coordinator - New York, N.Y.

A national, nonprofit patient advocacy organization, headquartered in Portland, Ore., seeks a Cycling & Endurance Events Coordinator. We are looking for an energetic, dynamic individual to assist in the planning, coordinating and managing of our cycling & endurance events in the northeastern U.S. Responsibilities include ensuring delivery of customer service support to staff, event leaders, volunteers, and participants; assisting with volunteer recruitment and training; facilitation of volunteer event committees; supporting volunteers and participants with fundraising; obtaining local event sponsorships; helping with recruitment of event participants and ensuring all required logistics and resources are in place for each event.

Requirements: Bachelor's degree with two + years of successful experience in special events planning and / or, fundraising, and volunteer management. Must have excellent written, oral and interpersonal communication skills, work well with volunteers, and be able to work in a team environment. Good attention to detail and organizational skills are required. Knowledge of cycling and endurance events is preferred. Work from your home office. Candidate should reside in New York City area. Director of Major Gifts

National Psoriasis Foundation is a non-profit dedicated to finding a cure for psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis. Headquartered in Portland, Ore., the Psoriasis Foundation is seeking an experienced Director of Major Gifts. The Director of Major Gifts, based in New York City, or the greater District of Columbia area, will be responsible for the national development and management of our major gifts program. This position will identify, engage, solicit, cultivate and steward current and prospective donors in expanding their financial support to meet the Foundation's annual goals and objectives.

Requirements: Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, non-profit management, business administration or a related field, minimum of five+ years of individual major gift fundraising, proven experience securing significant gifts, experience working with physicians, scientists and high capacity individuals, skill in supporting big ticket fundraising events, excellent written, oral, interpersonal communication skills, strong organizational skills, and experience working closely with volunteers. Research Coordinator

A national, nonprofit patient advocacy organization located in Portland, Ore, is seeking a full time, professional, self-motivated and organized individual to serve as our Research Coordinator. This individual will have the opportunity to handle a broad range of tasks in providing administrative support for the organization’s research department. Responsibilities include providing administrative support for the day to day operations of our BioBank by serving as a liaison to sample donors; managing participant database and records; and coordinating sample collection and disbursement. This position will also assist with coordination of our grant submission process, scientific review process, and dispersal of awards. Additional responsibilities will include providing administrative support for meetings, conferences and assisting with other projects and tasks.

Requirements: Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree with 2 + years of administrative support and / or program coordination experience, proficient knowledge of all Microsoft Office programs including Microsoft Word, and Excel; excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills, and strong project management skills. This position will be responsible for establishing and managing effective communication systems to keep staff informed of the organization's activities and events. Vice President of Medical Programs

National Psoriasis Foundation is a non-profit dedicated to finding a cure for psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis. Headquartered in Portland, Ore., the Psoriasis Foundation is seeking a Vice President of Medical Programs. The Vice President of Medical Programs will be responsible for developing, managing, and implementing educational programs and outreach activities to medical professionals serving patients with psoriatic disease. This position will lead and oversee medical professional activities and serve as a liaison with our Medical Board. In addition, this position will be responsible to develop and manage the Foundation’s relationships with external professional organizations; prepare and submit program grant requests; develop website content for medical programming; supervise program staff; and create and implement strategies to expand medical professional support and involvement with our organization.

Requirements: Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in a medical / healthcare field or related discipline, five + years of experience managing continuing medical education programs, experience working with medical professionals, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and strong organizational and multi-tasking skills.
