Panel member biographies
Jerry Bagel, M.D., is a graduate of the Mount Sinai School of Medicine. He completed his residency in dermatology at Columbia-Presbyterian Medical Center. He is a board-certified fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, a member of the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, a clinical assistant professor of dermatology at the Robert Wood Johnson School of Medicine, and an attending physician on the staff of the Medical Center at Princeton. Dr. Bagel was also named one of the top physicians in the state by New Jersey Monthly.
Lawrence Green, M.D., is a practicing dermatologist in Bethesda, Maryland. Dr. Green has psoriasis and has been involved with the Foundation for many years in different areas, including as a physician liaison/leader for California and Washington, D.C., support groups and as a speaker at Psoriasis Foundation educational meetings and conferences.
Melodie Young, N.P., is a nurse practitioner in Dallas, Texas with an emphasis in dermatology and psoriasis care. She obtained a B.S.N. from William Jewell College, and a M.S.N. from The University of Texas at Arlington. Ms. Young has worked in dermatology since 1987, starting as a phototherapy nurse at the Baylor Psoriasis Center in Dallas.
Paul S. Yamauchi, M.D., Ph.D., is a dermatologist in private practice at the Dermatology Institute and Skin Care Center of Santa Monica where he treats many psoriasis patients. He is affiliated with St. John's Hospital in Santa Monica and the Encino/Tarzana Hospital in Encino. Dr. Yamauchi is on clinical faculty in the Division of Dermatology at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA. He specializes in general dermatology, dermatologic surgery, aesthetic dermatology, and clinical research.
