Administrative Assistant

The National Psoriasis Foundation is a dynamic and growing non-profit dedicated to finding a cure for psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis. The Foundation is seeking a full-time, professional, self-motivated and organized individual to serve as our Administrative Assistant. This individual will have the opportunity to handle a broad range of tasks in providing high-level administrative support for several departments. Responsibilities also include answering incoming calls (approximately 35 calls per day). The ideal candidate will be an organized team player with exceptional customer service and multi-tasking skills.

Requirements: Bachelor's degree with a minimum of two years office administrative/receptionist experience, proficient knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, and excellent editing and writing skills. Please forward a cover letter with salary requirements to Human Resources.


Community Development Manager (New York)

The National Psoriasis Foundation is a dynamic and growing non-profit dedicated to finding a cure for psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis. The Foundation is seeking a seasoned volunteer development and fund raising professional to organize volunteers and execute walks and other fund raising and program initiatives in the northeastern U.S. Responsibilities include cultivating and soliciting donors, sponsorships, and event participants; volunteer management including recruitment and training; and directing special events.

Requirements: Bachelors degree or equivalent, five years of experience in non-profit development, management of volunteers, and event marketing. Excellent written, oral and interpersonal communication skills, able to work in a team environment. Competitive salary with excellent benefits. Work from your home office. Health Education Coordinator

The National Psoriasis Foundation is a dynamic and growing non-profit dedicated to finding a cure for psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis. The Foundation seeks a team player to provide customer service and health information to patients via phone, e-mail and written correspondence. The Health Education Coordinator will assist patients from across the country with disease and treatment questions and refer patients to both internal and external resources to meet the patient needs and interests. In addition, will provide daily coordination of both internet-based and printed educational tools and resources.

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree is required, preferably with concentration in health education/promotion, public health, or community health, with 1-2 years related work experience. Excellent verbal and written communications skills, good attention to detail and multi-tasking skills are also necessary. Experience working with volunteers a plus. Internet Marketing Manager

The National Psoriasis Foundation is a dynamic and growing non-profit dedicated to finding a cure for psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis. Headquartered in Portland, Ore., the Foundation is seeking an experienced and creative Internet Marketing Manager. In this position, you will be responsible for managing online campaigns, search engine marketing (SEM) activities, search engine optimization (SEO) tactics, social media initiatives, e-mail marketing, and online advertising.

Requirements: Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, advertising, or business with at least 4 years related work experience. The ideal candidate will have a thorough understanding of Web design and social media, experience with writing Web-based communications, understanding of Web 2.0 theories and fundamentals, and HTML skills as well as familiarity with CSS, CMS and online databases.
