Cover the Uninsured is a project of the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation focused on raising awareness about the 47 million individuals in the United States living without health insurance. Cover the Uninsured provides helpful guides to finding health insurance for those who are uninsured.
Families USA works to promote high quality and affordable health care for all Americans. This organization provides a wealth of resources for both the uninsured and those with insurance, including a guide to health plan consumer protections, state resources, and a consumer assistance program locator.
Georgetown Health Policy Institute makes available state-specific consumer guides on getting and keeping health insurance. Many of these guides offer additional financial aid and patient assistance resources and programs. Also includes helpful financial management guides related to health care costs and debt such as Options for Managing and Avoiding Medical Debt.
The National Psoriasis Foundation is a member of the National Health Council, which is made up of more than 100 national health-related organizations and provides a voice for millions of people with chronic diseases including psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis.
