Psoriasis One to One Mentor Program
Are you newly diagnosed? Have questions? Need to talk?
Those recently diagnosed with psoriasis or psoriatic arthritis often describe feeling lonely, isolated and anxious at first. However, it doesn't have to stay that way.
Psoriasis One to One Mentors are people with psoriasis and/or psoriatic arthritis who have been through what you are going through and are thriving. They are trained to provide information and emotional support to anyone who has questions or is struggling with their disease.
Anyone can request a One to One mentor.
Sign up to be matched with an experienced mentor who can:
- Provide you with disease and treatment information (not medical advice).
- Help you find resources you need, such as locating a health care provider experienced in treating psoriatic diseases in your area, and opportunities to connect with others in the psoriatic disease community.
- Assist you with setting goals for a healthier lifestyle.
- Provide emotional support.

"There were a lot of people who helped me with emotional support [when I was first diagnosed] and I really needed that. One to One is a perfect way for me to reciprocate." Matthew K., Psoriasis One to One volunteer mentor
