In recent years, treating psoriasis has become even more complex and hopeful with the new options that are available. Managing patients with psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis: A case-based clinical conversation
In this online CME/CE, video-based Clinical Conversation activity, Drs. Alan Menter, Jerry Bagel, and Jeffrey Crowley discuss the clinical management of psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis. Video vignettes depicting patient–clinician interactions in four case presentations are used to illustrate evidence-based best practices for diagnosing and treating patients with psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis. Their discussions also address disease management in the context of comorbid conditions. The cases include a man with genital psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis; a woman of childbearing age with severe scalp psoriasis; a woman with plaque psoriasis on the elbows, knees, and scalp who previously had cervical cancer; and a man with coronary artery disease who has palmoplantar psoriasis.
Aviailable May 21, 2013 - May 21, 2014
