Eric Kimble elected to National Psoriasis Foundation Board of Trustees
PORTLAND, Ore. (May 20, 2009)—The National Psoriasis Foundation named Eric Kimble, of Sudbury, Mass., to the Board of Trustees in recognition of his longtime commitment to the Foundation as a member, volunteer and donor.
During the past eight years, Kimble has served on Psoriasis Foundation leadership committees providing counsel and marketing advice for Foundation-related programs. These include the Chief Residents annual meeting, a Foundation-sponsored education program for dermatology chief residents, and the Foundation's “Psoriasis: More Than Skin Deep," community awareness seminars offered around the country throughout the year. Most recently, Kimble served on the board's advocacy committee to help boost interest and participation in Foundation advocacy-related initiatives such as Capitol Hill Day.
Kimble, a graduate of Brown University and Harvard Business School, currently is national sales director for Cubist Pharmaceuticals in Lexington, Mass. His previous work includes more than 18 years of sales and marketing experience in the pharmaceutical and consulting industries.
“Eric’s fresh perspective and personal connection to the cause will help move the Foundation toward finding a cure for psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis,” said Dale White, Chairman of the Psoriasis Foundation Board of Trustees. “We look forward to working with Eric to help the Foundation achieve this mission.”
As a member of the Psoriasis Foundation’s volunteer board, Kimble will help direct the organization by evaluating and approving long-term plans, determining goals and providing financial oversight. Board members also work with Randy Beranek, president and CEO of the National Psoriasis Foundation, to accomplish the organization's goals.
